Trachelospermum 'Star of Toscana' - Tuscan Jasmine Yellow

'Trachelospermum Star of Toscana' also called star jasmine because of its soft yellow, star-shaped flowers. It is a Mediterranean evergreen climbing plant and hardy down to -10°C. The exuberant flowering period is from the beginning of June to the end of August, during this period the flowers spread a wonderful sweet scent. The climbing plant has oval, dark green leaves and needs support from a climbing frame or fence to grow well. The newly sprouting branches of this star jasmine curl beautifully up along a mesh or fence. The best place is sunny to partial shade and out of the full wind. The star jasmine can be planted in the open ground in normal nutrient-rich soil. The star jasmine also grows well in a large pot on the terrace or balcony.
