'Clematis armandii Apple Blossom' owes its name to the flowers that are very similar in color to the flowers of the apple trees. The flowers are pink in color in the bud, the petals themselves are white with yellow-white stamens in the middle. The flowers appear on the climbing plant in early spring. It is an exuberant bloomer that bees like to visit. What is special about this climbing plant is that it is one of the few clematis that remains green in winter. Its leaves are leathery, elongated green and are very elegant.
