Description
The Sarcococca humilis 'Winter Gem' is an evergreen shrub that seems to be made for shady places. Full sun is not even appreciated. In late winter the plant blooms with small white flowers on red-purple flower stalks. Not really very noticeable, but what is very noticeable is the wonderful sweet air that the plant spreads and thus brings a bit of spring into the garden. Makes few demands on the soil. Very suitable plant to place in a beautiful pot or basket in a shady spot. The plant only grows to a height of 60 cm and does not need pruning. If you want to cut something, do so immediately after flowering. Planted in the garden, winter hardy down to -17C
