This blend contains everything your orchid can be used for. Orchids are a little different than most houseplants. Because most orchids are epiphytes (plants that do not grow in the ground), they prefer a substrate with plenty of aeration and space.

To support this there is a lot of orchid bark. The peat moss helps retain moisture around the plant roots. Orchids also do well in terrariums! The perfect general orchid mix.

Using the mix is ​​easy! Start by removing as much old soil as possible. Gently squeeze the pot while holding it sideways to loosen the plant. Hold the carrots under lukewarm tap water to remove the last bits and pieces.

Also be sure to remove any dead leaves still on the plant with scissors. Now your plant is ready for its fresh orchid soil. Add a small layer of Orchid Mix to the bottom of the pot.

Place the plant in the pot and slowly add orchid soil to the sides to fill it. Make sure the point where the roots touch the plant is just below the orchid soil.

Lightly dab the orchid mixture into the pot. Be sure to water the orchid mixture well after repotting as this will help the mixture and roots settle.
